Great stay. Beautiful campground and very clean bathrooms. Would avoid site 44 only because of direct Sun, but the place was wonderful. I do think campers should be able to park at the spring though. It is a very long walk with tubes. If your paying to camp there, you should be able to access the amenities easier.

The people that work here are very unfriendly and they act like the Gestapo!

Salt Spring Recreation Area Campground is one of our favorite National Forest facilities. This was our second camping trip there and we hope to return again. The entire experience was a pleasure.

Stayed on site 44 this was a very nice large site. We went swimming in the spring which was very neat, such clear water. We we absolutely go there again when we go back to FL. A+ Place!

It is a beautiful park, but rules about getting first come sights are a little difficult. Seems we spent a lot of time trying to get an extension on our site. Next time we will reserve a spot.

Large camp sites, full hookups including sewer at each site. I would have given it 5 stars but there is very little privacy. Very few trees for shade which wasn’t important in cooler weather. Great walking trails but the trails to the Springs is a long walk and no bikes are allowed. There’s a beautiful picnic area but no food or drinks are allowed. Not sure why. Also the park sites are pet friendly, but not the area near the Springs.
