Great campground with full hookups. Beautiful spring. The only negative is the terrible roads in the primitive area.

The campground and campsite were clean, in good working order, and the interior area was clean.

We booked a one week stay on Site 42. We had full hookups and all systems worked as they should. The site was mostly sunny and paved. The spacing of the sites is very good with an easily navigated road system. The bath/shower houses were clean (not heated or a/c) and seemed to be very regularly maintained. This is a gated campground and it felt very safe. There is no Wi-Fi, but I work part time remote and our Verizon hot spot performed well. Check out Salt Springs Pizza just across the street...they have an expansive menu.

Clean sites with some shade. Sites are paved and level but there is no privacy between sites.

This is the cleanest, most well-maintained campground we've ever stayed in! We've been here twice, and both times it was exceptional. The staff and camp hosts were friendly and helpful. We were able to snorkel in the spring, which was really nice, and the cute little town of Ocala is only 30 minutes away.

Always a great experience to swim in the springs ! Campsites are nicely spaced. Bathrooms with showers are always clean. There is a laundromat close by, outside the park, if needed.

My only problem is with reservations. My sister had reserved a site months ago. Her site was cancelled, no replacement given, to make room for a new camp host. She had to result in a walk-up site. We booked sites (5)close together so our families could be adjoining. BTW, this is an annual trip weve done for over 10 years!!! The host never showed up and her original site sat vacant the entire time. Reservations should be honored first and host adjusting from there. Or a site could be designated for a host and no reservations beyond a certain date. Do not leave guests hanging with uncertainty!Other than this unnecessary mix up, this was a great trip and well be back again.

Beautiful Springs!!!! Very friendly helpful staff (Jessica was very helpful!). Large Park with full hookups. There is a huge spring area. Showers have pressure and hot water, but the shower heads need an update. They come out as a stream. The manatee are here but just out of the viewing area unless you have a kayak. The water pressure at the sites was weak.There is a shopping plaza across from the campground & a Dollar General. The plaza has a couple restaurants and a laundromat. We used the laundromat, and it was great but expensive.

We were only there for one night but it was a hidden gem. The sites are full hook up and well maintained. The spring is lovely.

Staying at Salt Springs was very enjoyable. I like staying where there is a park/camping atmosphere. Salt Springs provided that. Campsites were spacious. There are plenty of trees. The distance to activities was convenient- an hour to Daytona Beach, 30 minutes to Ocala. I'd recommend kayaking on Silver River. Very relaxing and pleasant .

Very nice campground. Clean and quiet. All the staff are very pleasant. Excellent swimming at the spring, with change rooms, etc. Highly recommend this campground.

Love the spacious sites. Trees and green grass make for a beautiful setting. The springs were very enjoyable on a hot summer day,
