This used to be a wonderful campground. This is the third year in a row that our camping group has gone to Salt Springs. We were told by other campers that it changed hands. That must explain the excess rules and harassment. No parking on the grass (which is mostly dirt). Fine for parking off your paved spot is $250 per tire. No golf carts although management zips around all day on theirs. One camper told he was late leaving when the posted ticket clearly said he was paid through the next day. 2 days after arriving was told that the hull numbers on our boat were necessary information that is collected at arrival. That information was not asked for just license number off boat trailer and pick up truck. Not an enjoyable weekend!

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. The sites are spacious and level with ample room to park our vehicle. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The campground is well maintained. We did not use the bathroom facilities so I cant comment on their cleanliness. It was a short walk from the campground to Salt Springs which is on the property. There is a small strip mall across the street from the park which included a Laundramat, a small market and a pizza shop which was very good. We have ATT cell service which was good. We were able to stream.

The sites were huge and the campground was stunningly beautiful. Walk or drive over to the Springs area which was not too crowded, even on a weekend. Beautiful place with very large sites.

Since this area was near a forest I expected more trees, bushes etc...but this looks like a open field with sites very close to one another. I felt like a fish in a bowl. I was also shocked to see the park employee take trash from the recycle bin and put it in the dumpster!!! Day 2, the site across from me had construction equipment back and forth all day. The next day they were in my spot! The noise, dust and smell of deisel prevented me from opening my doors or windows. I went to the office and asked (nicely) if I could be moved (park was 1/2 empty) or get a refund so i could leave. The were rude and abrupt and told me they couldnt stop on my account, nor would they refund the remaing days and they couldn't move me because all those other spots were taken (I stayed and they were not used). Someone (not sure of his job title) came and told me that they were finishing up and would leave. The next day they worked on a stretch of 3 empty sites. This was poor planning on their part and total disregard of a paying customers valid complaints! also, the water in the shower was tepid and you are unable to adjust it. This by far is my worst experience in a campground.

Loved the spacious campsites, not crammed in together like at some parks. Sites were clean and staff was very friendly. Will be a place to get away for the long weekends for us in the future. It was a little cool to swim, but the swimming area looked well kept.

Wonderful park. The site was fantastic, full hook ups, with a still basin around the sewer hook up. We walked to the Salt Springs and went swimming. Fantastic location. Would definitely come back.

This visit to the springs and Campground was awesome except for the humid hot weather. No bugs and camping was one of the best. Thank you for keeping our parks clean and kept up with the shelter and basketball courts. ! We'll be back!

Gorgeous oak covered site #31 was our home away from home. Beautifully maintained area. Restrooms were close and clean, but not climate controlled. Actually, they were controlled by the climate. But hey, we're camping here, right? Not a problem if weather is nice. Issue if you can't stand to get out of a hot shower into the cold. Will definitely be back!
