When American Land & Leisure was at Salt Springs it was 5 stars. Naventure took over 1/1. 1 star, sites not blown off between campers like AL&L, blocked up commode not fixed for hours, way down on manpower. Other campers commented on subpar labor efforts. Also no pontoon boat available for rental at boat launch/dock. AL&L had a rental to cruise from springs to river. Big difference on customer satisfaction between regime changes.

This is the best place were ever camped! It was very quiet and peaceful. The sites are large and clean. Features are paved sites, full hookups, large powder-coated mesh picnic table, pole for hanging things, standing charcoal grill and fire ring. The impressive black waste connection was in a recessed stainless steel sink with a threaded connection and a secondary drain for rainwater. Of course swimming in the springs was a wonderful experience. But the best feature is the friendly staff and many camp hosts that work constantly to keep everything clean and tidy!

We checked in on a Monday and were told that there was going to be work done on the water system in the campground on Wednesday morning and to disconnect our water hose before 8am. The work supposedly would take a couple of hours and that we would be notified when we could hook up again. As it turns out, this was a county wide situation that had been planned at least 3 weeks in advance and a boil water notification was in effect until further notice. In other words, we lost water service Wednesday morning and never got it back before departing on Thursday. Campers were cutting their stays short rather than take a chance of contaminating their water systems inside their campers. There was no notification of the prolonged outage from the campground. The information about the true nature of the issue was gained from contacting the county directly. All campers holding reservations for this time frame should have been notified ahead of time to allow for other plans to be made. The campsites are nice although I'm not sure a doubling of the nightly rates to $65 per night in the last 3 years is warranted and it's crazy that golf carts are NOT allowed, except for camp hosts and park employees. The spring itself and the recreation area surrounding it is nice.

Sites were a little more crowded than Id like, and the jets flying to the bombing range were extremely loud. Other than that, fabulous campground. Enjoyed FULL hookups. Staff were friendly and helpful. Springs were beautiful.

This park is one of the best we have ever camped at. All of the sites are large and I would say most of them are level. Restrooms and showers were kept very clean. I was very impressed.

Sites are very well maintained and as one of the few parks with full hookups, it was a pleasure to stay there.

The campground was very clean and all in great working order. We enjoyed having 2 weeks with full hookup. We were there over Christmas and had some cool weather (below freezing at night). There was a benefit of the cool weather as it brought the manatees into the beautiful warm springs. We did have a rowdy, loud crew beside us for a couple of nights. All the other campers were very nice. There's not much available in groceries for about 18 miles so bring what you need.

The interior signage for locating springs and ramp could be better. Ask another camper for directions. Be sure to try the spr.72 degrees, year round. I wore my shorty wet suit top, and was comfortable.
Local hardware store is well stocked, as is the dollar store. Very friendly and helpful staff

One of the best campgrounds we've ever stayed at. The sewer hookup is one of the best we've ever encountered. Ample space between sites. Will defiantly stay their the next time in the area.

I wish they let you have electric scooters when the staff themselves drive golf carts around the campground.

Great camping experience. Firewood for sale was really wet and difficult to burn. Other than that campground was well run, loved hiking trail and springs.

The bathrooms could use some heat during the winter months. Also, electric outlets for use of hair dryers would be nice. And shower heads should have a spray not just a single stream of water. Otherwise the campground is very nice and clean.

Nice location, springs beautiful. Office staff can be rude depending on who is working. They do not enforce their rules regarding tents, parking or noise.

Very upset about the changes in staff. The fact that it was sold out to private sector is very aggravating. New rules different changes and then hearing about the discounts for the seniors changing as well was not good. We did enjoy our stay there other than that it was good.
