My spot was #8 I made a reservation but didn't specify a spot. I was disappointed that my spot was adjacent to Hiway 19 so traffic noise spoiled the experience. The shower house nearest me was under some sort of repair. During the three days I was there, and for many days prior to my arrival according to an adjacent camper, no workers were seen doing anything. I was able to make the walk over to the operating shower house. Someone older or more disabled would surely have found it inconvenient at the least.

Sites were ok. Don't expect much privacy as it's fairly open. Route 19 right beside the CG was noisy.

Terrible experience! The camp ground location is horribly designed; we could hear traffic every night all night. We could also see dollar general from our camp site, not what one would expect going to a national forest. We also wanted to do trails while we there. The map the front office gave us was very out of date!! We drove to over 8 tr ails and many were so over grown that the trail was practically nonexistent; definitely lack of maintenance and not hurricane related! The camp staff were also unpleasant. We rnded up leaving a day early. Overall we will never go there again and I would never recommend it to anyone!

Well maintained park. Sites are fairly large and laid out such that you do not feel like you are looking into your neighbors RV. Services in the area are limited but adequate with fuel, groceries and propane fill nearby.

Very nice place. Well kept. The Springs are a big plus. You can walk to them and enjoy peace and tranquility.

The park is a wonderful place for family. We visited the salt springs twice while we were there.

Nice large sites. Not much close by. Local grocery store at the Marathon station was better than expected.

Salt Springs Rec Area is a very pleasant place to visit and stay with your RV. The facilities are nice and kept clean and in good condition. The hosts and staff are very nice and helpful. I have visited and stayed at this facility for 7 or 8 years now in February and have enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend this recreation area.

Love staying at Salt Springs ,the spark is clean and springs are beautiful . Good restaurants near by . Other beautiful springs near by also !

The staff was very nice. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The firewood was perfect. Many other campgrounds we’ve been to sell firewood that’s been ‘treated’ and it never burns. The fire it’s were a nice design with the grill that swings over the fire.

Beautiful area. We had the spring was basically all to ourselves. The campgrounds were clean and kept up well too. We will definitely be back again.

Registration was easy and the warm greeting started the time right with a positive experience.First time in that area so had no idea what we could do, my husband is mobility challenged so we were unable to get anywhere close to the Springs which seemed to be the only activity or must-see destination. That was a big disappointment.
