We really like this campground. Hook ups are probably the best weve had. People working at the office are very, very nice. We found the one trail thats in the park and its a nice little trail. When the weather is warm we love the springs, good for snorkeling. There are 2 restaurants across the road that are good. Definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent campground with full hookups. Launch kayaks in Salt Springs river, close to Juniper Springs run, hike the Yearling Trail. Clean restrooms.

RANGER JENNIE AND THE OTHERS WERE GREAT. THE BATHROOMS AND THE SITES WERE SUPER CLEAN. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS MISSING WAS SOME HEAT IN THE BATHROOMS WHEN ITS COLD. WILL BE BACK SOON.

More expensive than most NF campgrounds, and quite a bit more crowded. But still a nice place with lots to do right around the park or the local area

Area was gorgeous, facilities were clean and the staff at the front were friendly and great. Only problem we had was a lack of enforcement of quiet hours, which disrupted (past midnight) more than onceotherwise a perfect stay.

Salt Springs has decently spaced sites and the restrooms were clean. There are varying reviews on cell service, but we couldn't find T-mobile service anywhere we walked. Others seemed to be using their cell phones, though.

We rented a tandem kayak. It was a beautiful day and equally beautiful scenery. We enjoyed the birds, turtles, alligators but especially the group of manatee we found. Highly recommend it!

This was our third stay at Salt Springs and we always enjoy it. Its quiet, clean and the staff is very friendly. I do not recommend lot 52, however. We spent 6 days with a constant rain of small acorns on our RV. It was very noisy and distracting and a big mess.

This is a great campground!. But, there are some problems with the bathroom.
Specifically, the showers: You have to push in the valve to get water to flow, but it only flows for a second or two, which is not enough time to rinse off. And you have to keep pushing it or try to hold it down, which makes it difficult.
Also, the water was too hot to the point of almost burning. I complained about this when I was there, but nothing changed.

We very much enjoy Salt Springs! One thing that would be a great addition is a high fenced in area for dogs to run in the RV camp area. We have noticed that the shuffle board area and beyond is never used. With the many dogs that camp us humans would enjoy that. Well maintained and only charge the charge the dog people for the use.

Very nice area. Had site 84 which is an FF site but I wish I could reserve next time I’m there! Level, enough space. Kayaked at the Springs and saw many manatees. It was chilly so not many visitors the first day so the manatee were all conjugating near the Springs. Rented a pontoon boat and went up river to the opening of Lake George. Bath house needs a lot of work. It was very dirty with black mold in showers area. Even with that, it was a great stay. WiFi only near office and one of the bath houses.
