Staff was amazing but the campsite was overgrown and ticks everywhere.

We very much liked camping at Clear Creek. We had no internet, TV nor cell reception but that gave us time for campfires, walks with dogs and just alot of talking to each other. We headed inside from 2p-5p due to the HEAT - had lunch, took nap & watched a dvd in the a/c. Our lot was next to the incoming road but it was no bother at all. Loved being able to hear the boats going down the lake. We'll be back.

Wonderful weekend stay. Loved the trails. Only suggestion is... some of the sites need some "renovating". Years of use and rain have caused some sites to hold water during heavy rain.

We had a wonderful time! The campground was nice. We loved the bike path around the lake. The owner was very helpful.

I'll keep it simple and short. Corps of Engineers campgrounds are for me a better camping experience. So rather than complain about Clear Creek. I'll just say in my extensive travels I've stayed at better campgrounds.

The campground was beautiful and the employees extremely nice. The only issue we had is with the bath houses!! The one on our loop was closed due to Covid which is ridiculous since they want people to spread out but then make them use the same bath house. They only have ONE shower per bath house and in that shower only ONE temperature for the water. It has a button you push to turn water on and it is HOT! There is no way you could bathe a child in there. They definitely need to tear them down and rebuild.

I do believe if all the bathrooms and showers are closed except for on one loop in the entire park there should be a pop up warning to let you know during the booking process or something. Thank goodness we were only one loop down. Hate to think of some people staying further away and not being able to hike up to the bathrooms and shower very well without some warning beforehand. Besides that I will say we were throughly and pleasantly surprised in the trails and such beautiful scenery and waterfalls. We came across multiple waterfalls and some you hike behind. It was gorgeous. Besides the bathroom/shower situation we had a great time.
