Had a lovely time as usual, swimming in the lake, and camping in the clean and private campsites. The only thing that I wish was different is better signage that the loop trail was closed at a section for maintenance. I made the mistake of thinking that the blue arrow trail near the closed section was an alternate trail to the loop. After 10 or 15 minutes I realized I needed to turn around and go back the way I came. It was getting dark and I had to get back to the loop trail, and go all the way back to camp the way I came. A small note that said, 'please turn around and go back the way you came', would have been more clear. I was not the only person who took the other trail thinking it would get us back to camp, so it was stressful. I have a bad back and the extra long walk exhausted me. Im glad I brought water! Thanks for an otherwise great weekend.Jennifer Collins

The natural setting of the campground is beautiful; nestled alongside Trillium Lake with the southwest face of Mt Hood as its backdrop. Campground amenities (vault toilets, potable water) provided for all your necessary personal needs. Spacing between campsites was more relaxed than many more urbanized campgrounds and foliage between campsites added to a greater sense of personal privacy. Finally, campground distance from the the highway added to the tranquil peaceful experience easily enjoyed. Hopefully, repairs to the trail which circles the lake will be completed shortly to complete an otherwise excellent experience.

The rangers were nice and the campsite is easily accessible and clean. Two cons: there were loud music / karaoke that disturbed the quiet night 10pm+; also it was a bummer that we can't have fire during the dry season. Overall experience is positive! I wish we could stay longer.
