I will start by saying we have been going to Trillium Lake for over 20 years. The campground and lake are fabulous even though there are no hookups for my trailer. The paddleboarding and kayaking are phenomenal. It's sad it has gotten too crowded and the fishing is not like it used to be but we still had a wonderful week.Having said that I must report a very negative experience involving the main camp host in space #1. He came to our campsite and confronted us about some paper plates in our fire pit. I had put them there to act as firestarters on Monday of that week. On Thursday of that week a fire ban was put on the whole region. He asked me what I was going to do with the plates. I asked if I could just burn them and he said no and that I would have to get them out. I said OK and as he left he said if I violated the rules again I would be told to leave. I said "excuse me, I don't need to be threatened and that he should show some respect and manners. He said I was arguing with him and my wife and I both said we were not arguing. Five minutes after he left I cleaned the plates out. The next day he left a note on my truck that accused me of starting a fire the previous night which we did not do. His note was extremely rude and said we were to leave by noon. We immediately went to his space and he came out extremely angry and again accused us of having a fire. I said we never started a fire and he said I was lying. Then he proceeded to use extremely fowl language and started dropping F-bombs on us. He told us loudly in our face to Leave Now!! I told him I wouldn't and go ahead and call the police...I would love for them to come. We then sat down and discussed it and he finally believed us and said we could stay. We left two hours later. I didn't want to be there anymore. I am 79 years old and have been camping most of my life. I have NEVER been treated like that. This camp host has no business working with the public. He's a very angry rude person. Will never go

With the weather being close to perfect, our three night stay at Trillium was very pleasant. The park is spacious so it feels like you are really outdoors in nature. The park staff and hosts were wonderful. The people we came in contact with were helpful, happy, and polite. The outhouse was kept clean and attended to daily. I love this campground!!

Lack of water was challenging. Also there was a LOT of tree debris from winter on trails, in campground sites, etc.

Nice campground with walking paths, ability to access lake with water toys, and breathtaking views of Mt. Hood. Our only complaint was someone running their generator at all hours, but that isn’t the campgrounds fault.
The view of Mt Hood from Trillium Lake location was amazing. We were so happy to have been able to rent a Canoe and play on the Lake. So wonderful. Only downside- no showers no normal restrooms with soap and sink just vaulted toilets.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
