Beautiful camp site (27). Though fully occupied, loop was VERY quiet for peak season (early Aug). Lots of butterflies, huckleberries, dragonflies. Restrooms and dumpster had been services appropriately. Only draw back was part of lake trail was closed for repair and there was no signage to indicate until at the closure point.Overall great experience, look forward to coming back soon.

A popular but well run CG. You will definitely want to reserve your site well in advance especially if you plan on going during the weekend. Mt Hood is gorgeous!

The campsite, bathrooms, and the trail around the lake were clean of litter. We rented a kayak, which was marvelous!

Nice campsite. Great weather, but the outhouses were terrible. Full and stunk so bad that they were unusable. Lots of camp hosts riding around but didn't seem to care about the outhouses.

While the views were absolutely spectacular, the campground management was nonexistent. We stayed for 3 nights. After showing up, it rained the first night. We looked for the camp host to try and locate some firewood. We walked the ground 3 times, and all 3 hosts' sites had a sign "off duty" on them with no host in sight. We drove 20 minutes to buy some firewood. On the second day, a host stopped by our site and asked if we needed anything. We explained what happened the night before. She apologized, said that we are lucky that our site looks the way it does because just a few weeks ago we wouldn't even be able to start a fire because our firepit was full of ashes. After that encounter, again, no host in sight for the rest of the trip.On day 3, toilet paper ran out in all nearby bathrooms and it was clear that they stopped being cleaned on day 3 as well.We camp a lot, this was the most poorly managed campgound I have ever stayed at in California, Oregon, or Washington states. A shame because the scenery is gorgeous.
