Nicely wooded/sheltered sites, clean bathrooms, and easy access to Trillium Lake.

This is an excellent campground, the sites are spacious and has enough space and trees in-between sites so the campsite will have a private feel to it because you wont be able to see your neighbors. I really like there is a parking area and a boat launch that is away from the day use area for campers. I really enjoyed taking my kayak out during this trip and having the boat launch when I didn't have a campsite right next to the lake made it so much more convenient to take the kayak out. The restroom is a drop style toilet but it is very clean and well maintained. I had a chance to interact the staff to ask them help me find my campsite and check in and they are very friendly. If you're staying at this campsite, watching sunset or sunrise at trillium lake is an absolute must.

When we drove up there were rangers to direct us to our campsite. 047 was a great camp spot near the boat ramp for close and easy access to carry our SUP to the lake.
Area was clean and good size.
The night that we arrived was super cold and cloudy that hit in the low 50’s to high 30’s and unfortunately campfire was not permitted. The next morning was clear blue sunny skies and the view of Mt Hood was breathtaking. Saw a bald eagle the first night and the next morning as well as a Hawk. Bathrooms are more like an outhouse, but was clean and big. They had many throughout the campgrounds. It didn’t seem busy, but maybe it was because it was on a cold weekend. So it could possibly be busy on hot days. I reserved my spot several months in advance as it gets booked fast. Will definitely come back as I enjoyed paddling on the lake with the beautiful view.
