There was no camp host or park employee who came around to check on us, even to verify we were to be at the site. This being said there was no hiking information. There was lots of toilet paper, showing many relieved in the areas around the campsites. The bathrooms did not appear to be cleaned while we were there and this was 2 nights and no air freshener was hung up to help cut the smell. I enjoy Mt. Hood and know the area well but if I were not I would not know the trails OR the fact that Trillium Lake was a walk away or to go to the meadow and see graves of pioneers, and there wasn't a write up about them. I know it is a primitive campground so can accept it as such but you asked for comments.

Camp host was incredibly organized, and campground welll maintained and run. Spacing between Sites was great. Campers were all quiet and respectful. A bit of road noise from nearby highway. Great experience for our family.

Loved it here! Campsites were well spaced out. You can take the road to Trillium Lake which I was planning to do in the morning but we just didn't have the energy after all the excursions we had already done. It was pouring rain with some thunder which made for the perfect night. Couldn't see many stars with the cloud and tree coverage. Not sure about mosquitos as it was raining my whole stay. There was still some snow but not much, just patches here and there. Road is long if you have one of the higher number campsites, and many potholes so go slow! Great little access to the creek. 10/10 would stay here again!
