You get a tiny view of the lake from site 18, but the trade-off is being a little removed from the noise and comings and goings of the direct-access, lakeside sites. The parking pad itself is not very long, however we managed to fit a truck with camper and one extra vehicle with no trouble. The camp hosts were always around and seemed attentive. I did not need to use the toilets, but they looked clean. I did end up leaving halfway through the 4 night stay because of wildfire smoke and let the camp hosts know so they could release the site to another camper. By the time I got home a refund for one night's stay was already processed. I didn't expect any refund, so that was nice. I also got to see the fire-fighting planes dipping the lake for water, which, although not the best, was sorta cool to witness.

the campground was clean and well maintained, and the camp hosts were very friendly and accommodating. and love that it offers a discount to lifetime national park pass holders.

The hosts left the bathrooms untended the last day, and there wasn't even any toilet paper. Then, at 11:50, one host (a large man with a curly beard) came around to the sites telling us we had to be out by noon, or we would be locked in. This was the final day of camping for the season. He was rude and demanding and showed not one iota of kindness or patience towards us. We threw our last minute items into our vehicle and rushed out, which was not a nice way to end our trip, or the season. If all guests needed to be out by noon, exactly, (which differs from other days when a few minutes can be excused) since it was the last day of the season, he should have been going around to the sites giving a little more notice.

Beautiful campground with great access to the water. The camp host with the fluffy dog was great and fun to talk to. Will definitely be back. FYI the campsites are pretty close together and you can hear your neighbors very easily.

The campgrounds were beautiful and so very well kept. Can't wait to come back.
