Cleanest vault toilets I've ever seen.

Campground was too crowded with many campsites having more than the maximum of 6 people. Also, many campers did not keep the noise down after 10pm. Parents were not keeping control of their kids who were allowed to run around, screaming loudly and congregating on the road right in front of our campsite to skate board and hang out. Why not use the beaches for that? People were also playing music too loudly after 10pm. Campground hosts need to keep better control and enforce the rules in the campground. How about patrolling after 10pm to make sure campers are quiet and music is turned way down (or off). Also most people weren't wearing masks in the bathrooms even though there was a sign on the door saying masks are required.

Camping at Hoodview was overall very wonderful. The camp hosts were friendly and kept the campground well taken care of and clean (cleanest pit toilets at any park I've ever stayed at). Thank you to those attentive camp hosts! Access to Timothy Lake from our campsite was great, and the views are gorgeous. The only complaint we had was the NOISE. All of the RV generators, especially early in the morning was an absolute nuisance. Why come to nature to disturb wildlife and all of your neighbors sharing the campground? Please consider banning generators in this small campground, or at the very least separating tent campers from the RVs to keep our parks more peaceful for those of us that choose not to create this kind of noise and would not like to be around it. Thank you!
