Bring paddle board or kayaks. Good trout fishing but no bait allowed on lake. Bring fly rods, spin rods and spinners. You have have to release native trout, but can keep small limit of hatchery trout.

Experience was great! If you want peace and quiet, I would suggest one of the of three campsites nearest to the lake. AND most important, I don't recommend a long trailer at this campground. There are only 2 camp sites that will actually fit any kind of trailer and those are near the lake. The other spots are walk ins, meaning you have to haul your camping gear down a trail to set up camp. Cell reception is spotty, and the nearest town is very close by and they have a grocery store. I have a 15 foot trailer and reserved camp site 14. There is no running water, no power, and only permanent outhouses. I camped in September and the lake was pretty low. Im sure if you camp here in the Spring and Summer, the lake is a lot higher.
