We really enjoyed our night at this campground and site 1 was very secluded. Would definitely come back!

We had campsite 1 right on the water and had a great stay. It was very quiet, and there was room for 2 tents. The bathrooms were well taken care of, as good as a pit toilet can be. We enjoyed paddling on the water with views of Mt. Hood, and fishing.

The camp host David and Park Ranger Steve were friendly and helpful. Site 001 was beautiful and had easy access to the lake that was just stunning! What was unbeknownst to us and were not included in other reviews, is that there is a path very near our campsite that led to a small beach next to our campsite and MOST of the day users parked by our campsite and accessed the path to the beach. They were loud and obnoxious till 8:30pm when they left.
It really is a beautiful campsite but having day users walk back and forth so close to our campsite makes me think twice of choosing campsite 001 and will choose another site away from day users.
The dirt road to the campground was a treacherous at some places. Check campground for alerts before arrival.
The lake again was beautiful and the campground a gem.

The campground was great and the campsite was awesome! The water was wonderful, so many hidden gems! The fish were plentiful and there were not too many campsites on the grounds. Steve was wonderful and even let us borrow his knife to clean the fish!

Beautiful. Seems like a simple word, but it is the word for this campground. Lawrence Lake is so calm and enjoyable to be on and around. We were there Monday through Thursday in early June and the campground was quiet, calm, and serene. It got busier and a little louder as the weekend got closer. Note that there is NO POTABLE WATER in this campground so you must bring your own. Easy lake access for kayaks or row boats. The water was still pretty cold in June but a welcome relief to late afternoon sun.

Absolutely terrible experience here. Upon arrival to my site there was lots of broken glass at the tent pad, and toilet paper/human waste. The next site over was empty and marked with a OPEN tag so we moved to that one. When making his rounds, the camp host blocked the road with his truck and approached myself, my partner and child very aggressively, and intimidatingly made us move back to the original site. He was yelling and was extremely aggressive to a family being respectful trying to have a nice weekend. Our child was up all night upset scared that he was going to come back. The next morning we filed an official police report with a very nice ranger, yet the man came back later that day and continued to harass us until our child was scared enough that we had to leave. This is a wonderful lake and great place to camp, but this man ruined the experience by trying to intimidate a woman and young child. He needs to be fired.
