We absolutely love Lost Lake. Its beautiful, quiet and truly such a family fun place to adventure and play!

We could hardly use the restrooms in the campground without literally almost vomiting because the smell was so awful. We realize its camping and better than nothing but yeesh Id rather squat in the woods if it were acceptable. Really makes us rethink going back. We were also in the A section of the campground, its the furthest away from the lake. We would definitely not go back to A again.

Our recent stay at Lost Lake Campground was 50 years since my last time as a kid and it remains as charming and beautiful now as it did then. The campsite was clean, water and restrooms close by in both directions, and campground hosts and staff were very friendly. We were even able to fill our empty propane tank at the General Store. We hiked around the lake with magnificent views of Mt. Hood and to the top of Lost Lake Butte. The only thing we didn't do and now regret is rent a row boat for our family group to enjoy. However, I fished from my one-person pontoon and caught and released many rainbow trout between 10" - 14". If it weren't for my desire to see different campgrounds throughout the country I would make Lost Lake Campground (Resort) an annual destination.

Stayed in a group site. Plenty of clear and flat space for tents and chairs around the fire ring. A few good hammock trees and good places to hang lights. Would definitely try to get this site for another large group.

It was ridiculously crowded on Sunday. On Monday, my daughter and I extensively cleaned three waterfront sites FULL of trash. It was unbelievable that anyone would leave so much trash, plastic, beer cans, balloons, etc. at the beautiful lake. But we had a wonderful day on the water on Monday and the campsite was very nice both days. The staff was polite and they took precautions to prevent the spread of Covid.
