Such a lovely gem of a campground! Perfect lake, amazing view of the mountain, just wow. Next time Ill try to find a site closer to the lake but we still loved the D loop. It felt very wooded and private.

I have been going to Lost Lake for 25 years and its one of my favorite places. We had a great time as always. Only thing I'd like to mention is that at site F003 in the lower camping platform (2 down from the one with the fire pit) the tree next to the site is rotted out and was making popping sounds during wind gusts at night. We moved our tent and 2 sleeping children at midnight and let the ranger know in the morning. Passing the info along because I don't want anyone to get hurt :) Otherwise Lost Lake was magical as always!

I grew up not far from Lost Lake. I hadnt been there for over 20 years, and it was great to create new memories at such an incredible lake and campground.

This is our 4th summer camping a Lost Lake. We love it every time! It is a great place to disconnect and enjoy the lake with friends and family. Highly recommend!

Campground is large and rowdy. The staff does not manage late night partying and it definitely takes away from the overall experience. Great location but too busy.

Quiet campground with plenty of trees for a hammock. The lake is busy on the weekend, but very accessible for kayaks and SUP. We enjoyed the 3 mile hike around the lake.

It’s a long, winding road with many hairpin turns to get to Lost Lake Campground. To be honest the campground is really more designed for tents than big RVs. I’d estimate 90% of the campers were in tents. However, out in H loop there is plenty of room in those sites. We had no issues at all with our 17 foot Roadtrek RV.

It’s an absolutely gorgeous campground with deep, old growth trees towering above and a delightful, well maintained pathway along the lake to take in the beauty.

That said, it was mighty crowded and down by the day sites it was a zoo. Between that and the difficulty getting there, I’d think twice before going again. Reservations are hard to come by and there is no internet reception anywhere at least not with T-Mobile).

H loop is a full miles from the main activity are, including the general store and day use sites. The campground was completely full on the weekend but quiet and private out in H loop.

Beautiful location. Hard to get access to the lake with all the weekend crowds ):

Positives: Location is beautiful. Lake water is crisp and clear. Sites are pretty decently sized. Store, cafe, and boat rental are all nice touches. Lake is pretty serene before loads of day campers arrive and after they depart.Negatives: Weekends during the day get extremely crowded from 10am-5pm with day campers - honestly surprised they don't have a limit on capacity as the streets are overflowing with traffic and parked cars. Lots of big groups day camping playing very loud and obnoxious music - which doesn't really seem to fit the beauty and serenity of a mountain lake that doesn't allow power boats. I will say the day campers seemed respectful in not leaving trash for the most part. Wouldn't mind a little more regulation on music, size of groups, overall capacity for day campers, etc.

Wonderful campground where we have our annual family camp. Large amp sites and plenty for the grandchildren to explore.

Our campsite was level so we didn't have to block up our travel trailer tires. Site was clean and fire ring in excellent condition. Lots of space and sites well spread out.

Hi, we had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect! No clouds and warms days/nights. We enjoyed renting your row boat with our German Shepard (his first time in a boat) and hiking around the lake - the 3 mile hike. The campgrounds were clean, quiet, and peaceful. Also, the young kids working the Boat House were very friendly and nice to interact with. Along with the lady at the General Store. We will be back!! Thank you.

The lake is gorgeous, and there is a shop that sells supplies, firewood, and souvenirs. The sites are spacious, and there are several day hikes nearby to check out the area, including a lake loop. Overall the campground felt short-staffed, as the toilets were a mess when we arrived and they did not get cleaned at all during our 4-day stay. Also the shared water spigots were completely out of order for B and C loops for a full day until they could get it fixed.

Had Great time kayaking, fishing and hiking, the 3 grandchildren always love lost lake .

Quiet campground with mostly secluded sites. No RV hookups, vault toilets. C-1 is a pull through but puts door on the street side and not the campground side. Luckily we were with a group and had other sites to gather in.

If we go back again, we will not stay in the C loop. Too much noise and people staying up after midnight making too much noise. Was also surprised to find out airplanes fly over all the time...another noise disturbance. Other than that, we loved the hikes available around the lake and took to most of the trails including the hike up Lost Lake Butte...absolutely beautiful!

We love Lost Lake SO MUCH!!!!! But a $40 extra car pass is an absolute rip off. Love you guys but drop that back down to $15 with as much as we have to pay for a site already, especially when there is plenty of room for an extra car anyways. Again, love you but you are doing too much.
@DanielleR93295 · Camped on Jun 27, 2025 at Campsite #D19
price is kind of high, lake is far from campground, toilets are just ok.
@TracyG3379421 · Camped on Jun 24, 2025 at Campsite #B9
Great campsite, lots of room to park, tent areas are large, we put 3 tents up, I'd definitely stay at this one again. 4 stars not 5 because of the lack of attention to the pit toilets, and the very noisy garbage truck coming thru very early in the morning.

Beautiful camp ground with tons of privacy. The camp is very clean, well designed so that your neighbors are never too close.

What a beautiful location and the campground is set up to experience these lovely woods with trails and sites. Campsites are spacious in D-loop and private. Other loops are more intimate but comfortable. All have a wooded feel and joy of sharing forest. Check in with an RV was clumsy due to limited parking and challenging turnaround but, employees were terrific. Such a perfect wooded campground. Come prepared as no stores close by albeit, lodge has convenience items and a decent grille. Highly recommended.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
