Nice campground and great price. Wish the hippies would respect the quiet hours. Lots of noises till about 1am. Would also be nice if the host wouldnt fire up their generator at 7am..

I was pleased with the campground. The sites were spacious and well-maintained. I do wish we had known beforehand that the potable water available can only be accessed via a hydrant pump that required quite a bit of effort to use. I recommend bringing a decent-sized, wide-mouth container that you would have to fill no more often than once per day. Apart from that, it was a terrific visit.

Great experience! If youre looking for slightly warmer weather, I would recommend going in late July (we went July 1st-3rd). However, there may be a trade off of more mosquitoes. First day/night was in the 50s dipping into the high 40s. Day 2 and 3 were warmer going into the upper 60s near the end of the day. The sites are all very nice and clean, with well-maintained fire pits. The bathrooms (vault toilets only) were some of the nicest I have used. Very clean and actually smelled decent! Site numbers 18-24 are closest to the lake. We were next to the host in spot 4 (still a nice spot), but next time I want to try to get a lake spot. The lake was beautiful and full of tadpoles (had not developed into frogs yet). Overall I highly recommend this camp site!
