We had a wonderful experience. The camp hosts were new to us this year and were amazing. Camp sites were clean and well maintained.

Beautiful small campground located in the Mt. Hood National forest. Campsites are well spaced and clean (for the most part). Our campsite did have some garbage left there, but I blame that on the previous campers, not on the hosts. The vault toilets were very clean -- always a plus when camping. The hosts were very knowledgeable and helpful, taking the time to answer all of our questions. We did want to fish, but the season is getting close to the end, it was hot out, and we didn't have a boat. The reservoir is drawn down for irrigation in the summer, so it was not full, hence leaving a pretty mucky shoreline. There was a spot on the rocks, but we had young children with us and this would not be a safe option for them. It was a plus to still be able to (carefully) have a campfire to make s'mores for the kids.
