We really enjoyed staying at Middle Fork, a first time for us. Nice, quiet campground. Vault toilets were well-maintained and didn't smell awful like most campgrounds I've stayed at. Only issue is that the single potable water spigot in the campground stopped working halfway through our visit. We came prepared and didn't run out of water, but there were others who didn't bring water and were out of luck. So, make sure to bring extra water with you just in case it happens when you stay there. Otherwise, we had a great visit and plan on staying at Middle Fork again.

We liked it very much. The site was clean and a good size. It was easy to get to , it fit our 23 foot trailer .
The water pump was broken and we could not have a fire , but other then that we enjoyed our stay

Campsites were clean. This year there was no host or water, although staff were on-site daily. You can bring a gallon jug and fill up at the river

NO POTABLE WATER AVAILABLE as of this writing. There is only one water station for the entire campground. It relies on a solar-powered pump and is broken. We had counted on water being available (after all, the campground information lists "drinking water") so we had to fall back on a combination of water purchased at convenience stores in North Bend and boiled water from the river. If I return to this campground I'll just assume that I need to haul in my own water or be prepared to filter a ton of water.

The campsites are nice. Our site (#14) had a nice big tent pad, picnic table, firepit, and standing BBQ fixture.

Lots of nearby hiking, but if you're planning to drive to the trailheads make sure you have the right pass (Northwest Forest Pass or maybe Discover Pass). Otherwise you can leave your car parked at your campsite and walk to the trails or have someone drop you off.

The kids had fun wading in some calm shallows on the edge of the river.

Toilets were ok. Not sparkly clean, but not terrible.

Dry-ish firewood was available at the entrance of the campsite at $8.00/cord.
