It was a quiet campground and very close to the river and a couple nice hikes . The bathroom was very well maintained and their is plenty of firewood available to purchase .

My site was too close to the road so I can hear cars passing by. I would consider other sites that is closer to the river.

I hate to tell anyone because we love this campground! The River Trail heading south out of the campground is perfect for our (8,10) year old boys and leads close enough to the National Park gate to snag a picture. There are campsites of various privacy; we like ours wide open so we can see the kids. The quiet, paved campground roads are in good condition for them to bike and the south loop has good site lines and is flat for beginners. The camp host does an excellent job maintaining the flush toilets. The flush toilets and water source do rely on electricity and there was a short outage while we were camping. Fortunately, there were other toilet options but you may want to make sure you have a backup water supply. You are also close to Crystal Mountain ski resort. We enjoyed our day trip taking the gondola up for great views of Mount Rainier and then taking the Green Valley Trail back down.
