This is a beautiful small campground near Beckler River.

It was quiet and beautiful. There's a new solar-powered pump providing delicious clean water. Site 11 was nice and didn't feel too close to any others. There was a large party at the group site across the way and we couldn't even hear them, because the site is set well back. The host was very kind.

Very peaceful campground, with calming river sounds, only 2 miles from Skykomish on paved but bumpy road. Nice restrooms, but was smelly in July when busy and hot. Bushes were unusually dry Sept '23 with fir needles all over the ground. View to the west includes a burned hillside from the Bolt Creek fire of Sept '22. A trail goes upriver starting behind sites 24 -27. Most sites are in tall Douglass fir forest, except 2, 3, 5, 14, 20, and 21 are more open. We like the privacy and view from our camper looking back into the woods from 9, 11, 13, 23 and 24. #14 has the only parking spot overlooking the river, but is less private. #1 is close to the river but next to the host, who may run a generator. #4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 have paths right to the river, with loop driveways, better for tent camping. #19 is a secluded double site in the woods. #4 is a big open double site near the river.

Beautiful campground! Very private. Camped on a Wednesday night and campgrounds were less than 50% full. River sites are worth it if you can snag one. Some huge group sites available as well. Had cell phone service the whole time.

Very nice campground. Campsites we’re very large compared to other campgrounds we have visited. Burn ban was in effect. No water for drinking, cooking, etc. at campground but we were advised prior to trip. Prior to the trip I had received a series of email reminders which is normal. When we got to our reserved site, there was someone in it with a car and RV. Our name was not on the site and the campground host said she had no record of our reservation. However, she did get us into a different site so it all worked out. If the campground had been full, I don’t know how things would have proceeded.

Great campground. Clean facilities. Pretty private campsites and very close to the river
