We've gone to Shannon Creek or Swift creek etc. every year for 30 years but probably not anymore. All the campgrounds are "softly" managed. What I mean is yes, they are tidy and the staff are polite, but no rules are enforced. People up till 1am shouting or campsites grossly overcrowded. I like to stay at Shannon Creek when we go fishing but the traffic flow has become ridiculous. The second weekend we were there almost every trailer parking spot was taken up by day use people. I had to find the people whose car was blocking my boat so I could pull it out. Plus, I shouldn't be asked multiple times while I'm trying to relax "can I park my car in your campsite driveway the parking lot is full". Additionally, the boat launch is clearly marked for campers only. I have seen several times now kayak tours come up and take over the whole boat launch and beach for an hour before launching.

My point is if I'm making reservations 6 months in advance, I should be able to enjoy my time and not deal with so much day use traffic or people who don't follow rules.
