Very accessible to many pats of the National Park; very large parking area for 2 vehicles; very friendly staff.

Lovely campground which has been ignored. A crew needs to come in and clean out all the downed tree debris. Something also needs to change with regards to cancellations, so many unused campsites, so sad for those who are unable to procure a site.

Only bad mark was that it wasn't super clear what to do for folks who get there late at night. Besides that, the campground is beautiful and we loved the all day access to the park the morning after our check-in date.

This campground is beautiful! The rangers and the camp host were so polite and personable. We stayed in loop C and this loop has a very tight turn at the end of it and we barely fit. The trees had damage so other people have definitely hit them multiple times. Our site was C28, a very long pull through. We have a 30 foot trailer with a 20 foot tow vehicle. We could not pull through this site due to a tree, but we were able to back in the trailer with ease. Any longer than us would probably not be able to successfully drive through the loop. Out site was huge and quite far away from other campers. The kids loved how much room there was to play under the trees. This is a very wooded campground and it was wonderful to relax under the trees. This campground is within walking distance of the Carter Falls trailhead, I highly recommend this hike as well as this campground!

I enjoyed Cougar Rock campground and Mt Rainier National Park. The location of the campground was excellent for going to the Paradise trails and the nearby trail to Carter Falls was an excellent hike. I enjoyed seeing all of the wildflowers on the Paradise trails, even in late august.
