Ive never had a bad camping experience but our neighbors absolutely destroyed this trip for us. They decided to park in our campsite which at first isnt a big deal I thought it was weird they waited until we walked to the bathroom to make the move. Its that they were in and out of their car opening and closing every door multiple times like they were making sure they still worked. Then theyd start the car opening and close the doors some more and then drive away. The first time was a bit annoying mostly confusing but its happened several more times all after quite hours and every time theyd shine their headlights directly at our tent and wake us up. After the third time I tried to confront them but they sped away in their car when they saw me approaching. The facilities themselves were great bathrooms clean garbage picked up I wish there was a way to get one of the rangers involved with ridiculous behaviors like this late at night.

Upside: many private campsites and super clean bathroom. Downside: hilly campground and too few bathrooms.

Beautiful campground, well maintained facilities with flush toilets and a water bottle filling station next to the restrooms.

Was camped at B016. Absolutely beautiful site. It says the pad can only accommodate a 8x10 tent but we easily fit a 14x9. Plenty of room for parking. Not too far from the restrooms either which are kept pretty clean. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to camp here

Nice clean, quiet, beautiful campsite. The check-in ranger was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great experience. Just watch out for falling pine cones hitting your tent, car etc. squirrels pick them whenever they want. My windshield got a couple of small chips from squirrels picking pine cones at 6am! It sucks but I can't be mad at that, it's their home and how they eat. Just warning others to try not to park close the trees.

It was a very nice campground and each site was unique. My only advice to bring large containers of water to avoid multiple trips to the single water source near restroom. Nice and quiet and nice shade after a long day of hiking in the sun. Can't wait to go back! Also the flush toilets and bathrooms were very clean.

Cougar Rock was the most beautiful campground we have ever stayed at. The setting is stunning, with giant moss-covered trees and rocks. The sites are large and well laid out. We enjoyed the campfire program, and there were lots of trash and recycle bins. We loved it there and will definitely be back.
