Bathrooms were clean and near the campsite. Site was permitted for 15ft rig but we had a 19ft rig that fit just right. Close to the next campsite but not overbearing. Quiet a night. Not much more you can ask for.

Great campsite and great location. Particularly appreciated the flush toilets and clean rest rooms

The campsite itself was not great. Trees were cut down, there was a rotted stump in the middle of the campground and it was a tough place to be when it rained for two days straight. Other than that, I always enjoy the hard work the workers provide and they are always professional, but this campsite was awful.

This is always a family favorite spot. Good central location, sites are well maintained and bathrooms were clean. We went mid-week so it wasnt too busy. Campers were all very nice as well as the camp hosts.

The campground is kept very clean, including the bathrooms. Our site had numerous dead/fallen trees, which seemed like a fire hazard. The staff at check-in were very nice & helpful.

We have camped regularly at Cougar Rock campground almost since it opened half a century ago. And, I have to say, this campground is pretty beat up and in desperate need of renovation. Not counting the fact that at least one-third of the sites are uninhabitable because of “Hazard Trees.” All of the sites need to be rethought and reworked; rocks and trees are under tables; fire pits are too near dying firs; the ADA-toilet program has more than fifty sites using one male and two female toilets; asphalt is crumbling at the edge of parking pads. NPS, you can do better.

Campsite was fine, bathrooms were clean. Checkin was easy. Bear box was operable and empty when I got there. White River has better bottle fillers.

Good campsite.
Not too far to visitor center.

Miserable looking fire pit, but otherwise a solid experience. Easy check-in and check-out. Kind park staff.

Things were a bit different, thanks to Covid, but I love this campground since it allows me to already to be in the park and not deal with long lines of traffic when I want to hike.
