The tent pad was very uneven that our sleeping pad was continuously sliding in one direction. This is our second time camping at Couger rock campground. The toilets were not cleaned compared to our first visit

Beautiful setting. Nice camp spots.
Though in need of a lot of maintenance, many parts of the campground were closed due to dangerous trees.

Cougar Rock Campground is the perfect place to stay for exploring the Paradise and Longmire area of Mt. Rainier National Park. The camp sites are nice with room between sites. Everything quieted down by 9pm and the mornings were quiet until people started moving around at 8 or 9am. There was water available to fill RV's but the dump station was out of service to plan ahead for that inconvenience until they get it opened back up The park ranger team were all very friendly and helpful, which is not the case in every park location. They spent time talking about area activity options and provided specific guidance. Overall, a great campground staffed by great people.
