Nice campground. We were in a spacious quiet site at the end of Loop C.

Lots of trees, shade, greenspace and no mosquitoes, blackflies or other bitey things. Nice and quiet, good recycling, picnic table and firepit in top condition - the only limitation is no showers... had to go for a swim in Bench lake instead :)

My husband and I camped at site C15 and enjoyed our time there. Its a partially shaded site at the end of the loop, so theres decent privacy. This particular site is better for an RV/camper as it has a spacious pull through driveway. We were tent camping and could only find one small area that was level enough for our tent. We walked around the other loops and it seems Loop D has more sites with true tent pads. Bathrooms were well-maintained and clean. There is good garbage disposal and recycling for select items. Any staff we interacted with was very friendly. Location is great in terms up getting up to Paradise and other big sights. No cell reception for Verizon or T-Mobile, but we were able to get service by Paradise Inn.Firewood is only sold at Longmire general store and its a bit pricey ($15 a bundle). Id recommend buying firewood from somewhere nearby to get better bang for your buck.

Beautiful campsites in dense forest offers much privacy. The bathrooms were clean. The only down side was the firewood. It was nearly $15/bundle, which you have to buy down the road (not at the campground) and they ran out. In addition, the park has a no collecting of firewood rule within the park.

Great campground in Mt. Rainier. It was rainy when we arrived but we made the best of it and hiked Carter Falls across the way in the rain. We had the trail all to ourselves!

Really wonderful campground. Bathrooms were clean, camping space was large with trees surrounding. Just remember this no gas anywhere in or around the park. Camp hose and rangers were friendly. Also, trails and pull outs are not marked well. You really have to research and know where to stop to see the best views of this mountain and all of its natural beauty. Loved it!!!

please spend the money and time to remove all the hazard trees. that would open 50 more sites and stop 40 people every am from asking if you are checking out today.

We stayed at site C15 August 6-9 and it was the perfect spot. Many sites were closed due to hazard trees, which meant we hardly had any neighbors and it was the most peaceful campground we've been to all summer. Great to be inside the park on the weekend to avoid entrance lines too. We also hiked to Comet Falls through Rampart Ridge directly from the campground.
