Very wooded and quiet campground. Exactly what I wanted.

Great location to the skyline trail. Cleanish bathroom. Very quiet despite neighboring sites pretty close.

Small sites but a neat little Campground with clean restrooms and good tasting water.

Complete chaos in the booking system. I made the reservation early in the year. Recreation.gov said the site I selected for Thursday night was a first-come first-serve campsite on Friday and Saturday. However, this information proved inaccurate because when we called about a week before to check the reservation, we were told it was not a first-come first-serve site after all. This is not what the website stated when I made my initial reservation. Because of this error, I had to get in line at 6:30am and wait 90 minutes to secure another campsite. Then we had to pack up our campsite by noon and wait until 2pm for another camper to vacate our new campsite. We spent the whole morning waiting around instead of going out and seeing the park. And then the other camper did not vacate the new campsite that we rented - his camper remained parked at the campsite all afternoon. We finally just set up our tent around 3pm. The other camper did not return until almost 5pm and claimed that he also had a reservation for the same campsite - he showed us a receipt and said "I'm not leaving." Because of the disorganized and chaotic booking process we wasted the whole day and ended up having to share the campsite with a stranger.

Loved this campground! The rangers were so nice and friendly and helpful with picking out our hikes. The grounds were very clean and quiet and the water stations tasted cold and tasty.
