the site was small, but adequate.

This campground is very well maintained and in a great location surrounded by, or not far from, hiking trails. The sites are clean and somewhat secluded from your neighbor. It's about a 20min drive to Paradise, which has all the Mount Rainier accessible trails and full wifi. I'd definitely stay here, again!

Excellent campground and by far one of my favorites. This site was super private, but the site behind was a little bit close. I didnt mind though as the people were very quiet and respectful. The site was well thought out and it was really quiet and pitch black by 10pm which was nice! Would definitely stay at this site again.

BEAUTIFUL CAMPSITES!!! Thoughtfully made campsites with details like rock steps or stones and logs to sit on. Must see Paradise hiking / walking trails through the wildflowers. Must walk single-log bridge, with a pretty railing , across main road from Cougar Rock campground, & just South along the River. No showers, but its a drought there, and its COVID, so that is perfectly ok. Firewood is at the gift shop / general store in Longmire, during COVID. All COVID rules were followed well by visitors and staff. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Great view of the Mountain from the camp ground. Walk across the street to River and Carter Falls hike, great for kids. Camp sites are very small. A, B, and C loops only a handful of sites could fit a camper.
