This campsite was clean, quiet enough for being so full, and more private than I was expecting given how small it is. The site was large enough that we werent on top of our neighbors and we felt comfortable and safe as two young women. The bathrooms were unfortunately right down the hill past one other campsite but with no trail we didnt want to just cut through their site. This meant walking quite a distance to get around the loop, but the restrooms were large and clean. If youre headed to paradise on your trip, this is the perfect place to stay. And however early you think you should get to paradise in the morning, leave earlier. It was the most overflowed parking situation we experienced on our trip that august to more than ten national parks.

Fantastic campground, quiet and friendly. Would absolutely recommended if you are staying in the park. A quick drive to Paradise, obviously further to the Sunset side of things but an amazing drive down that direction across the park. Awesome hikes very easily accessible from the campground.

The camp gerund is pretty well-maintained with clean flush toilets, potable water fountain, convenient flushable waste disposal sink (for washing dishes). Its close to paradise and the visitor center and a few nice falls. The only thing is their wood is very expensive at 15 per bundle and cash only after 4pm when the ranger gets offduty. The campsite itself is a bit small, so the limitation on tent and car size actually make sense. Pretty nice overall.

Very nice site - on the larger side. We had a 4-person tent and it was easy to set up in the space. Wished we had brought our hammock, plenty of trees to hold it. Fire pit but no bear-box for food storage. We had to cross another site to go to the bathroom a bit downhill. Garbage boxes near the bathroom but away enough from site. easy enough as the site was not occupied. no mosquitoes on the 4th of July weekend. beautiful hikes around. Will be back.

We stayed in two different sites and both were roomy and quiet. We loved the evening ranger program and the hiking maps given out at the office.
