Great camp site and location. The showers get pretty dirty throughout the week but other than that we have nothing but good things to say!

Very nice quiet campground. Most come to fish so quiet during day. Nice amenities like a paved nature trail. Interpretative center nearby. 20 miles to town of Glasgow. Internet and Verizon fine but could not use our dish satellite. Very nice friendly hosts.

We love Downstream Campground. It is our favorite campground from all we have tried. The sites are spaced apart by at least 15 feet giving you privacy from your neighbors. There are lots of large trees providing shade. The bathrooms and bathhouse are very clean. Electricity hookups are available in many sites. Reservations are encouraged as the campground has been full all four years that we have been there. The camp hosts are nice people and we look forward to seeing them each summer. There is a walking path around the whole park that takes you by the water and the campground is close to the Ft. Peck power plant which has a wonderful visitors center that gives the history of the area and building of the dam which was quite an accomplishment in the 30’s. The town of Ft. Peck is up the hill and offers a summer theater with musicals and plays on the weekends. The reservoir is huge and beautiful and contains many varieties of fish including walleye, northern pike, salmon, and bass. We also fish in the dredge cuts when the water on the lake is too choppy. There is a free dump station as you leave the campground and there are a couple of spots to use to fill your water tanks on the property if you are not wanting the extra weight of traveling with your tanks full.
