We really love Seneca Shadows! However, since there were no more electric sites available, we booked a non-electric site for our small camper. We did not see any restrictions for a generator on the camp rules or the Mon Forest web sites. In fact we found that as long as it was not during quiet hours, we could use a generator. On our second day, the campground manager came by to tell us we couldn't use a generator in the campground. When we asked about the rules not saying anything, he told us it was on the internet. But we couldn't find anything. Anyway, we had to leave a day early since our battery could not be charged. We had a solar panel, but it was raining and we were in the shade. It would be nice if this contradiction could be corrected both in the rules and on the internet reservations.

Campsites are well spaced and well equipped and very clean. Bathroom shower house was clean. Not many views of seneca rocks but very near by. Summer concerts at amphitheater were nice too but amphitheater needs some maintenance.

We stayed in Loop B site 20 during our stay at Seneca Shadows Campground. Overall, it was a solid place to tent camp for 2 nights. There was no hot water in the showers we used which isnt all that bad in the summer months but cant speak for the colder ones. The campsites are cash or check if you show up for a walk-up site. We didnt have much interaction with the host other than extending our stay for a day but they were easy going and very nice individuals. There is absolutely no cell service but if you are in need of checking something, head out of the campground and turn left; there is a general store that has free WiFi. The campsite itself was nicely spaced and fairly secluded. Had a tent pad, fire ring and paved driveway.

The hosts were helpful in every way; from the initial sign-in, on the multiple daily drive-bys, and at close-out. The grounds are kept very clean and the dumpsters clear. Could not expect better.

We love this campground! We always stay in the non-electric loops because the sites are so large and private. The bathrooms are clean and the hosts are very helpful. They'll even deliver firewood if you need it. Make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to take in the activities around the area and be sure to visit Yokum's store while you're there.

The caretakers were super friendly. The facilities and the tent camping spots were well maintained and awesome!! Well definitely visit again!
