The rope swing is a ton of fun, definitely tube the river, amazing fishing, low key nature walks, put a hammock up and just enjoy the sound of the river current.

We absolutely loved this campground. It really exceeded our expectations and was so beautiful. We stayed at group site 38 for the first night (it was only available for one night) and then moved to group site 29 on the first-come first-serve loop. We had eleven people and six tents and they all fit nicely. Site 38 was especially private and set back in the trees (as are most of the sites which is awesome) which was ideal for a large group and site 29 was a little more out in the open but still worked well. The showers and bathrooms were good and the campground is dog friendly (we had one dog with us). The camp host was nice as well. The campground is in a great location in reasonable driving distance to a lot of sites in the area. While here we went to Seneca Rocks (and did the Seneca Rocks Trail and also swam at the swimming hole there which we highly recommend), went to Dolly Sods and did the Blackbird Knob Loop (about 10-11 miles with an awesome swimming hole/natural slide at the Forks at about the 7 mile point which we completely loved), and went tubing on the river at the campground which was awesome--definitely bring tubes! It is fantastic to be able to tube right there. FYI: there is zero cell service at the campground but we could get service approaching Petersburg and Seneca Rocks which was fine for us!We would highly, highly recommend this campground and will definitely return.
