Every year we come to Big Bend is an exceptional experience. The campsites are well prepared, clean and well-equipped. This year we dont give a five star because the mens restrooms were not functional.

Great, secluded campground in a beautiful location with all the amenities. Campground staff were also great and made check in easy.

Sites were nice, bathroom was clean. Hitting the water on kayaks was a good ride. Beautiful stretch of water. Several smallmouth caught. We had a good time. We will be back.

Our family has been going to Big Bend WV for six years, and each year is great. The river float, swimming, and snorkeling are always fun. The campsites are well laid-out, so even though the campground may be full, it never feels that way. A beautiful way to spend a weekend.

Beautiful campground set between very striking cliffs. The river access was great and would have been amazing for tubing if we had the time/equipment for that. River loop was good for tent camping with lots of tree cover but there were also a lot of awesome-looking sites in the non-reservable upper loop that would have worked for tents even though there's no tent pad. Showers were convenient and easily accessible from every loop.

Big bend is a great campground to visit. The road to get there is very secluded, which for the nighttime drive was tough to navigate for a city driver. What we didn't realize was what the view was on the road, or in the campground. When we woke up the first morning, we were absolutely stunned by how beautiful it all was. The campground is very well maintained, the host was helpful. A nice getaway and quiet alternative to Shenandoah and other Mon sites.
