We love Stuarts Park. It offers very private sites with a little bit of adventure for everyone. My son and I hiked the River Loop trail twice. My husband and son enjoyed fishing in the stream. Plus, we enjoyed running around with the dog in the large flat field. It was the perfect three day weekend spot to relax. We will be back.

Stuart campground was very nice. The campers were all well behaved and the campground was very quite. Stuart campground is located close enough to Elkins, WV to get anything you needed such as fuel, repairs and supplies without being too close to the campground.

The hosts here were amazing. The sites are large and well maintained. Set up perfectly for RVs or tents.

The water was down. They called us to let us know and they said they would give us 20%off but we never received any credit back. Camp site was great

Campground itself is nice. Spot #4 is the most secluded and preferred spot I would say. However, the road/highway runs right over the hill and the sound of semi trucks with engine breaks ruins the peace and quiet. It's hard to relax and enjoy your time when the semi's are constantly going by. The river has a nice beach access, but there was broken glass and a dirty diaper. Definitely well used. It was nice to camp though and have electric, flush toilets, showers and also to be close to amenities.

It was a nice trip but we had some troubles. One when we arrive we couldn't find the camp host to check in. Which wasn't a huge issue we were able to set up on the reserved site. The major issue we had was with the bathhouse. The group of us went in the evening. The camp host kicked us out, stating there have been kids vandalizing the bathhouse. I didn't think that was warranted being the bathhouse was open by the listed time and two felt that because my group of friends were younger that we were going to vandalize it. This didnt happen once but twice when the following morning we went for a shower and the camp host had locked the doors to the shower house when it was listed to be open. The campground itself was wonderful, beautiful and close to Elkins. But the staff seemed to do a poor job at managment of the facilities.
