This park has been updated with new concrete pads, fire pits, all sewer along with the already existing water and electric. Its a nice park, but it would be even nicer if the companies that were being paid to upkeep the park, would actually do their job. Grass was in desperate need of mowing and my fire pit was full of so much trash that I had to call the office to make them aware, and they sent someone down to clean it. I wouldve cleaned it out myself, with gloves, but they offered to take care of it. I wish people would realize that some people like to cook over those fire pits. Thats why they have a grate for cooking on them. Would you like someone to cook your food over trash and cigarette butts? Even if you didnt do that, kids love to do smores over the fire I ran into this issue two weekends in a row, at different sites. No one should have to clean out the pits, unless they are shoveling the excessive ashes out. Someone mustve ran over the cap for the water, shut off valve, next to our site, and failed to report it, because the campground host didnt know it had happened until we said something. That hole was big enough for a small child to fall in. And if an adult had stepped in it, they would have been very, very sore, if not injured!

Site 067 was a great site if you have children who plan to spend a lot of time using the playground. The site is a fairly level piece of asphalt with a gravel seating area, picnic table, and fire pit out the rear of the site rather than to the side. Full hookups worked great although the electric post was at the very rear of the rv pad. Keep in mind that you will most likely need a long electric cord or an extension. This site is not going to be a quiet site with the playground in close proximity. Lots of children running, yelling and even screaming. We had one issue with supervision at the playground when one "parent" tried to dictate who could and could and could not be on the play equipment. Her 2 year old was unsupervised most of the time and she was angry that older kids were playing and getting in the way of her very young daughter. After witnessing this even and reading the playground recommendation board I brought it to her attention that the playground was only recommended for ages 5-12 and that supervision was recommended as well. She was upset that the only reason she booked her particular site was for her kids to play. After a small argument I offered for her to call a Park Ranger. She declined and their family packed up and left. No further problems after that. on our last day I decided I would like to stay and additional night so working with the campground host on duty I was able to book an additional night through him and avoid the online fees and hassle. Overall our time was great and our site was even better. Our daughter was able to spend so much at the playground making memories with many new kids.
