Redman Creek Campground in Wayne County is located 1 hr 10 min southwest of Cape Girardeau, MO with an elevation of 419 feet. There are a total of 101 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 40 and 87 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $48.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, swimming, restroom, flush toilets. Activities include biking, hiking trails.

If you're looking for a good camping experience Redman's offers it all. The attendant was very polite and friendly; the shower house was clean and roomy, there was no loud overbearing music, the grounds are well kept, your close to a Dollar General if you need anything, and the prices for camping are CHEAP. If you like shopping at flea markets, there is three larges one's down the road about10 miles. If you don't like cooking, they have you covered on that to there is a restaurant within a 1/4 to 1/2 mile from you. If you're a fisherman, or like swimming then you're going to enjoy the lake and the beaches. There are pavilions if you want to have large gathering and a cookout. In my opinion you can't ask for more if you want to have a family friendly place to go.

The campground was very clean and well maintained. The camp hosts and staff were all very helpful and friendly. They spent a considerable amount of time getting me set up on Recreation.com and making my reservation. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Bathrooms/showers were clean, hot water and warm inside. The campground was quiet, although most of the sites were occupied.

The site has a slant to it, so the back of your RV will be higher than the front. This worked for me because I like to have my head elevated when slanting anyway. There is quite a bit of noise from the Missouri T traffic at this site.

This is a great campground. Clean bathrooms and showers, nicely wooded park with good space between sites. The campground host is very welcoming and helpful. My only suggestion would be that they empty the garbage a little more frequently.

The campground looked clean and neat. All services worked properly (water, electric, etc.). Volunteers were very friendly and helpful -- very positive camping experience.I don't like the rumor I'm hearing about more and more camping slots becoming non-available or campgrounds opening later and later this spring. It is quite difficult at times to get reservations for a slot for more than three or four days. With less slots available, it will be even worse!

My second stay at this campground. We spent 5 nights and the facilities are in good shape with good hot showers. I was able to get Starlink from my site.

This was a perfect stay for us. We selected a pull though site for one night. It was level and paved. The host was friendly. We would recommend the campground and will return if we are in the area.
