We enjoyed Greenville Recreation Area very much.

It was a very hot humid weekend and there wasn't much shade at site 19. Also, the dog situation was not enforced. We camp at Greenville often and the animal situation is getting out of hand.

Greenville is one of my favorite campgrounds, the staff is always friendly and helpful, the park is well maintained and always clean. The trails are amazing, you can walk for miles if you do the full trails. And the history that is posted throughout the trails/campground gives you a lot of details about the area. We camp here a couple times a year.

Very well maintained campground. Flat concrete pads. Good water, electric, and sewer. Nice paved bike/walk trails. Good access to the river. Interesting history displays along the paths. We had a very pleasant stay.

Love the park overall,my only complaint is the location of the 4x4 post's site numbers really difficult to back in without hitting them,they need to be moved or paint the number on the pavement in front of the site.

This particular campsite is near the restroom which is great, but the afternoon/evening sun ruined our trip. We could not enjoy our selfs due to beaming hot sun. Do not recommend this spot.

We love coming here to Old Greenville. It is so nice to see folks weve met in the past and make new acquaintances. The park is great from being met by Terry at the gate, and he's always so welcoming and helpful. To how great the grounds look! Jason and Tammys hard work really shows, it looks amazing! We always love our walks and bike rides there too.

As a whole we love camping at Greenville, but the last few trips have been horrible due to the mosquito/nat issues, cant even sit outside and enjoy with out getting bite, my son has over 50 spots on him from them. Someone needs to think about spraying the park especially after a flood and or when the temps climb

Always love visiting Greenville Recreation Area. Its perfect for young kids to bike ride due to the majority of the area being level. Outside the campground area, are blacktopped trails that will have some inclines. We did some fishing, grilling, hiking, playground and biking. Fun few days!

My wife and I have been coming here for many years. Like many campers here, we have a dog and ebikes.Great place to ride bikes, there are lots of deer sightings, and we always meet the friendliest campers here.

Spot 68 is apparently part of a thorough fare to the playground so had people walking through my campsite all day!

Greenville Campground is a great place to camp. I love the concrete pads at each site, the full hook-ups and the walking & biking trails. It's peaceful and quiet there. The campground hosts are friendly. I highly recommend it.

Old Greenville is one of our favorite places to camp. The sites are paved and include a nice fire-pit, sewer, water, electric hookup. Love the bike paths, strolling along the old sidewalks checking out the foundations of what buildings once stood there. It also has an old Union Cemetary - lots of history to learn about. The US Army Corps of Engineers does an amazing job keeping it up and a bonus if you are over 62 you can camp for half price with America the Beautiful Senior Pass aka National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass.
@NancyW7726032 · Camped on Jun 1, 2025 at Campsite #56
The campground was very clean. Lots of shade to be able to just sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet. Several areas to access the water from the campground.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
