Very nice, spacious, quiet, full hookups, level solid surface lots with firepits, picnic table for each lot and a very clean campground. Nice bike riding trails too!Black powder rendezvous and the Old Greeneville days are wonderful!

Beware; stay away from site #4 in Aug/Sep. It is a Walnut mine fieldFirst of all; another great COE site! Spacious and the grass was mowed whilst we were there. A crew was busy to dk maintenance to the bathhouse exterior. Ample walking and biking opportunities. There were so many people riding their bicycles and e-bikesBack to the walnut minefield; The squirrels start breakfast af 6:30 dropping the walnuts on your camper. The worst of it all (if you care about your camper) is the dark brown stains as a result of the shells and squirrel poop . My campers roof was maintained clean till this week ( 13 Aug to 20 Aug). I swept the roof several times this week to remove the shells but it already left stains. I bought all sorts of soap that I could find locally and attempted to wash the roof the day before I left. The park attendant drove up and rudely stopped me. I attempted to explain that the only chance to limit the staines and to get ghd gunk off the. lides , so that the seals are nog damaged when retracting the slides, is to wash it immediately. Instead of listening to my explanation he rather continued to wave his arms and threatened me with the park ranger. I get it, rules are rules however, I was not presented with a copy of the rules and what I got online was silent about washing campers. I think a reasonable approach would have been to understand that I am just trying to safe my slide seals and to advise that i must use a bucket (which I was doing but used my hose to rinse the soap off). I know he was doing his job but I think that there may be room for understanding the situation at hand. Was a great week regardless of the walnut mess. will be back!

The grounds are well kept. Only thing I would like to see are a few first come first serve sites. I was also wondering about all of the park attendant spaces being used and we only saw 1 attendant working the week we were there.
