Paved path to walk or bike on. Sites are well spaced and angled enough so are are not looking at your neighbor while sitting outside.

It is a super kid friendly camping place. Multiple playgrounds and sports activities for my kids of a variety of ages. It had a beautiful trail for biking or walking!

Our favorite Campground! Smooth trails for riding bikes as well as good walking trails. Good size campsites, and always friendly neighbors!

The gentleman in the booth was extra helpful. We had been o. The road for 10 hours and he could tell we just wanted to relax. We got our site with his great directions and were set up in 10 minutes and relaxing . We will be coming back to stay longer.

Site 008 Was a great site! very level with a large patio area and a great fire pit. All hook ups worked properly. 50-30-20 amp electrical, sewer and water. The whole campground is very flat and the sites are very level. I was within 2" of being level side to side before unhooking. Everyone rides bikes so don't forget yours, but if you do there is a local bike shop that offers rentals right in the park. The trail from the camp ground to the town of Greenville was fantastic and well worth the ride. This trail can be completed by little children as many breaks are taken. The only down side to the whole trip was that during a game of basketball with my 9 year old daughter a group of teenage boys playing ball on the other goal were using some very strong language and many racial slurs. I could have notified the camp host, but chose just to remove ourselves. This is not the fault of the campground or the host. In summary we will plan on making it back to this park anytime we can secure a site. We felt that no sites in the park would be out of the question of reserving. They are all good.

URGENT!!! We always enjoy our time at Greenville Recreation Area. It is our favorite place to camp. However, we are still very upset about the changes made to the campground reservation system. The previous way was not only more beneficial for campers, but better financially for the Corps. The campground's "first come, first serve" policy for the front loop (and a few spots in the back two loops) kept the campground full during the weekdays, not simply the weekends. Now people reserve up all the weekends, leaving many campsites empty during the weekdays. Then if the weekenders do not (or cannot) come, they simply cancel their reservation for $10. We see many campsites setting empty because campers did not show up. It is very frustrating. The front loop used to stay full all summer long. Many locals gathered together for fellowship and camping time. Now some of those same people have even sold their campers because they cannot get any sites to include weekends. We like to go for two weeks at a time, without having to leave on Friday and go back on Sunday evening or Monday. The Corps has to be losing revenue due to this change. We even did a petition last year for this to be returned to the previous way. We ask that this message be forwarded to the powers that be, for consideration of the change. Thank you for reading.
