Great campground, love walking the old streets and seeing what stood there before the flood. Lots of trails to ride or walk.

Old Greenville is one of our favorite places to camp. The sites are paved and include a nice fire-pit, sewer, water, electric hookup. Love the bike paths, strolling along the old sidewalks checking out the foundations of what buildings once stood there. It also has an old Union Cemetary - lots of history to learn about. The US Army Corps of Engineers does an amazing job keeping it up and a bonus if you are over 62 you can camp for half price with America the Beautiful Senior Pass aka National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass.

The campground is very clean and well kept. The fishing from shore is not the best as it can be difficult accessing the lake from immediately around the campground. However, I was able to catch several white bass. We love the hiking trails around the campground.

Old Greenville Campground is one of our favorite places to stay. We love the concrete pads, full hookups, lovely flat area to ride bikes. This year we were there at pre-Halloween and enjoyed the directions that many put up.

Great place to camp but the army corps of engineers is falling way behind we had to dig out our own fire pits which were filled with Ash and had to trim branches so I could pull my camper around the campground without tearing a hole in my roof.

Pros : Awesome place to stay. Amazing for bike riders. Cons:. They need to have people dig out the fire pits and cut branches so campers don't drag the roofs through the branches to get to their sights. And people who have dogs that bark at other dogs need kennel them or let somebody keep them when they come down here for the weekend. The barking is a little ridiculous when there's nothing but dogs down here. Overall a very good place to stay for the beauty and price compared to Western states that charge way too much/way more.

If you are looking for privacy in a campsite, look elsewhere. Sites are not wooded or secluded. Otherwise, every campsite has electric, water, and sewer which is awesome.

Really enjoyed the campground and the trail. Nice quiet place with very nice parking pass and a large concrete patio with fire pit. All good. 👍
