Very lovely park. Appreciated the bike path/hiking trail. Bathrooms were in good condition. Had a small problem with electric pedestal and maintenance came first thing in the morning.

The campground is clean, maintained, lots of different things to do. However, the spot we got (A36) is advertised as a 93 pull through spot with a 50amp. The pull through curve is very tight with a tree in the way at the beginning with a large drop off on the opposite side of the tree. Our camper is only 35 and this was a bit tough to get into. The exit is just as rough. To turn to the right is a culvert with a drop off, a hill going down, and another large tree with protruding roots. Our camper was too long and the tree roots stuck up too far (steps would have hit) to turn right. We ended up being able to face the camper left and get out with a lot of back and forth. The fire pit was also in the way of backing up to go left which resulted in more backups. The spot is decent if you have a SMALLER camper. This is my only complaint about the park.

Very peaceful and relaxing time. We had a wonderful view of the water at our site. Biked around the grounds and when on a short trail ride. No complaints here!!

Park is very nice. The spot we were in was difficult to park our 5th wheel, but was able to with a spotter and some maneuvering. It was our first time at the park so wasn’t sure what we’d be getting into. Only AT&T works at the park and had to walk around to get signal.

Park is very nice. The spot we were in was difficult to park our 5th wheel, but was able to with a spotter and some maneuvering. It was our first time at the park so wasnt sure what wed be getting into. Only AT&T works at the park and had to walk around to get signal.

Loop A was very nice. We also enjoyed the paved walking/biking trail. The water was high but the sites didn't flood. It was nice to see that some of the sites were raised so the picnic tables were level. Heated shower houses definitely surprised me. They were always clean. Our group had a great time gathering at River Road Park campground.
