The sites were clean and well maintained. The only issue we had was no water for 1/2 a day. Not sure what happened, but no water for about 7-8 hours during the day. It was out for the entire park, but the Clearwater store just down the street had water. Other than that - everything was great.

Nice quiet campground close to the river. Plenty of space and two playgrounds for the kids to play.

The campground itself is awesome. Large sites with room between you and your neighbors. Bathrooms and dump station in good shape. Everything in working order. Lots of hiking and biking trails. Cell service is really bad - if you walk up by the spillway you can maybe get some reception. The only bad part of our trip was three huge thunderstorms that really cut down on our outside time - but that is no fault of the campground.

Love this park. Have camped here 5 times this year and have 2 more trips scheduled for October. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I never want to leave when it's time to go home. I've been known to stay an extra day if the site is available.

This is a beautiful campground. The many trees provide much needed shade in the summer months. If you have Kayaks you can use them above or below the dam. The fishing is good, and if you have kids, the playground areas are very nice. We also enjoy the great bike trail every time we camp at River Roads Park. There are also nice hiking trails, basketball court, and a beach for swimming. You won’t be disappointed. Come enjoy yourself and relax a bit too.

Wonderful waterfront site (level). Nice firepit overlooking the water. Clean toilet houses and shower house. Firewood available just about 1/4 mile away. Town about 6 miles. Really a nice place.

We were in Loop A - waterfront site. LARGE sites. Clean and well kept. Great bathroom facilities. Reasonable priced firewood available just a half mile away. NO cell service. Piedmont is just about 7 miles away, with a couple of fast food places, couple of restaurants, large-ish grocery store.
Would definitely good back, if given the opportunity.

Water at shower house was so hot couldnt stand it. Nothing done after I told host.
