This is the best place to camp in all of Missouri! The staff that works there is amazing and they keep the campground clean and neat.

This is a very popular campground and for good reason. The views are stunning, the facilities are kept clean and the hosts are friendly. All of the sites are pretty easy to access and there are lots of pull throughs. There are many activities close by and It's just a 15 minute drive to Dogwood Canyon Park.

We really enjoyed this spot! The water came nearly right to the patio and it was a great spot for fishing. The closest bathrooms were out of order for half of our stay but they did open up eventually. The other bathrooms were still open. Showers are hot with good pressure and very clean. The bathrooms were also very clean, though there is no soap so bring your own. It was quite chilly during most of our stay but we were able to stay out of shade while we were outside. For birders, there are lots of red-headed woodpeckers, tree swallows, tufted titmice, red-winged blackbirds, and nuthatches. Harter House (grocery) is not too far away and sells wood. Sunsets are beautiful at this campground! The panorama view from this spot was spectacular! Large RVs might have a little trouble fitting in this spot but we have a small camper so it was perfect for us. Other campers tend to come around the corner pretty quick so just make sure you are parked well off the main drive.

The campground is very nice....most sites are spacious, bathrooms are very clean and the showers have good water pressure. We weren't crazy about our particular campsite, #58. It was low and seemed to be the run-off for rain (it was flowing pretty fast during & after the storm that passed through), and was right on the road without much room for other vehicles to pass. We will definitely camp there again, but not at that particular campsite. Campground hosts were very nice as well as the staff at the booth. Overall it was a very relaxing campground. We will be back!

This Campground is one of our favorites. Always clean, well maintained, the staff is great, and not a bad site in the whole campground. The only reason it didn't get all the stars is that the showers were a little overpowering and the water was very cool. Some of this is likely due to not much use at the time and early in the season (April) but still something to keep in mind.
