It was a quiet campground. Had PLENTY of mature shade trees at campsite unlike alot of these newer so called campgrounds where they clear cut and have very lil trees.

The campground hosts and other staff were very friendly! The campground was in great shape! However, toward the end of our stay the sewer system including the dump station, and shower house was shut down. We left a day early to travel to Mill Creek campground to use their dump station before heading home. During a stay last year, the same thing happened! Hopefully, this issue will be resolved as we have future rerservations at this campground!

Campsites clean. Restroom/shower house clean and attended multiple times per day. No late night noise to impede experience. Attendants friendly and helpful.

Beautiful campground with great lake access! This was our first visit to Old Highway 86 and it did not disappoint. The sites and shower houses were clean, campground was quiet at night, easy access for water sports and swimming. Easy 20-30 minute drive into Branson. Nice convenience store a quick 5 minute drive from camp. Highly recommend this area.

Loved the park, stayed in #11. Disappointed seeing the empty spots while the web site shows full. I would have loved to stay longer but 3 days was all I could book. We have the same problem in Washington state with the state parks being booked and then no shows. Wish there was a big penalty for repeat offenders misusing the booking system.

Absolutely outstanding!Loved: friendly staff, perfect spots, HOT water in the shower, cleanliness of the grounds and bathrooms, overall feel- tranquility and peace, our neighbors (since it was almost a sold-out night, we expected lots of people, noise, commotion but it was perfectly quiet! We slept in till 8 am!). And there were no bugs except for flys! Did not love: not a single thing! Lot 11 was perfect for my family: we were close to the beach, playground, and the bathrooms. We will be back soon! Thank you for helping us create memories this summer!
