We camped on a Sunday through Wednesday and it was so beautiful and relaxing! It was quiet, and fellow campers were courteous and pleasant. Having water hookup was great, too!

Always enjoy old hwy 86. Had reservations for Monday-Friday, decided to see if there was anything open for Friday night through Sunday, nothing. The camp host was also watching for a cancellation, both host. Finally around 2:00pm we decided to start packing up to home. Went to the dump station, thought Id look one more time. There was a cancellation, I was going up to the host and asked them, they were very helpful and friendly and we stayed a couple more nights. It was a good week.

BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE LAKE AND THE BRANSON BELLE DOCKING AREA. NICE SHADE AT SITE 30, SLIM PASSAGE TO LAKE FOR KAYAKS, ETC. VERY ENJOYABLE. HAVE BEEN CAMPING AT OLD 86, 30+ YEARS.

The sights are all close to water which is beautiful! The shower houses are very clean. Camp hosts are friendly.

Park usually great but main shower house was under repairs for days so we left a day early. Preventive maintenance should be done during down months to inspect and get ahead of this issue when park is open. No fault of the host!!

Sites are level and varied in width and length. Most have shade from long growing trees and awesome views of the lake. I would highly recommend this COE campground to anyone!

Clean, good site, water good, no problem with power, and Camp Host professional and courteous. Our favorite camp ground in the Branson Area. Cricket Creek is another corp campground we really like.

Park itself is great. Awesome location on the lake. Stayed 4 nights at end of season and Park was pretty quiet. A couple of the mornings dipped in the low 30s and if I can be slightly critical, the shower house was very clean but it was pretty chilly and the hot water could be turned up about 5 degrees as it was pretty cold in there. Everything was nearly perfect until the last day of them being open. Park checkout is normally at 3pm. Since it was the last day, I went the entrance shack and asked about checkout and was told gates down at three. Went for a walk, got back to camper about 12:15 and was stopped by an employee and said park closes at 12 and gates will be locked at 12:30 and if we are not out by then we would be locked in until the following week. ??? He was mostly polite about but caused a stressful pack up to end a previous great time. Id advise the park to have better communication when they alter things like times from what is publicly available and even what there own people know. Other campers were caught off guard too and upset with fast departures required. Regarding the area, I feel Dogwood Canyon is way overrated. Its nice and clean but very fabricated nature and its not cheap. If you want true fall nature, take a short drive to and through Glade Top Trail National Scenic Byway. I would go back to this campground.
