Excellent campground. Hosts very friendly and accommodating. Cant enough good things about this campground.

Was not mowed at all. Hosts were nice but no one there on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Some had a hard time finding spots. Liked it better when hosts were around all the time. Think people watched what they did. Like keeping pets on leash and not parking on the grass.

We have been camping at Old 86 since the 80s. We love the way it is naturally a peninsula so that there are really no bad campsites and all have a water view if not a waterfront. There is a great swimming area, boat launch and NO traffic anywhere. It has always been clean and kept up and the shower houses are clean. Most COE campgrounds are very nice but we prefer Old 86.

The campground was great nice and clean. Plenty of room might need to add place for bikes to have a bike path or some type of trail close by.

It's a very beautiful campground. Most of the sites are close to the water. This campground is close enough to Branson if you want to take a trip into town to do some shopping or go to a show. Would highly recommend and would love to go back.

This campground is wonderful. The bathrooms are clean, we feel secure, the staff is pleasant, the views are awesome, the beach is clean and easy on you feet.

This was our first time camping at old 86. The view is beautiful. I was really surprised to see how clean the bathrooms were. The only negative thing, which to me is a very big impact, is the grass was about 3 to 4 feet tall. My guess is it hadnt been mowed in 3 to 4 weeks. They finally mowed the following Monday but it balled up so bad. I dont know if this is normal but it takes away from the beauty in this area.

Flooding has taken a bit of a toll on this campground with some shade trees dead or dying and much of the grass areas near the water looking pretty poor. Having said all that, this is still a really nice place and I would recommend it to anyone.

Gorgeous setting, sites are blacktopped and lined with pavers - also set diagonally so you're not right next to someone else. Playground is at one end so if you don't have kids, choose the other end. Point is quite windy. Nice bathroom facilities - had to spend time in one during a tornado watch. Hosts were kind and attentive. Close enough to Branson that you could easily take day trips. All in all - a great campsite for those who love wilderness but facilities!

The campground is awesome! We had a spot right on the lake and the view was amazing! Plan to go back again this fall.
