The camping was good but the older bathrooms were disgusting and they have new ones that were put up spring and fall campers cant use because those areas are closed. Showers were not working good and floor had green mold . Urinal was out and toilets were filthy. I dont know why they wont open the other areas so campers can use the new ones. Isnt that what they were put up for campers. They cram all campers in spring and fall into one small area with bad bathrooms and no privacy . Why dont they open more camp areas so people can spread out and enjoy. Who wants to camp in a crowded area almost like a parking lot when you can enjoy being away from lots of people.

Two camp host occupying 2 campsites and they dont cover all 7 days of the week. Nobody manning the access point on Sundays and Mondays makes for confusion. Above came into play when my reserved spot was occupied with a camper and no one around. Went and woke up a camp host to find a solution after doing a 360 walk around of the access point for local contact numbers for them or a park rangernone found. Think I blundered into a commercial operation that spots campers for rent using federal facility and they had not removed the rental on Memorial Day. Recommend this site be investigated for the commercial op and for allowing two camp host not cover all 7 days at the access site.

The campground host was very unprofessional and unhelpful. People from our group got told we could not use the handy cap sight they rented even though he was technically handy cap but had no sign witch it does not say anywhere on the sight you have to have and he would not work with us or help change sights. Then the sight was rented out to another person who wasnt handy cap the same day!!!! I also do not appreciate being harassed about my boat or pickup being the grass while parked in my spot. Being a camp ground at a lake you should be boater friendly many other camp grounds do not bother campers about their parking if they are making an effort to park and not block the road. Most people have a lot of money in boats and supplies and dont want to park them in overflow parking away from the campsite to have things stolen from them.

Quiet and very peaceful place to camp, walk or bike. Very well kept up around campsites and bathrooms are clean.
